Havolyn Exterior Cleaning

By accepting a quotation, booking services, or allowing work to commence, the customer agrees to the following Terms & Conditions.
Quotations
All quotations are provided based on the visible condition of the surface at the time of assessment.
Hidden defects, underlying structural issues, drainage problems, or previously concealed damage may only become visible during or after cleaning and may require additional work or revised pricing.
Quotations remain valid for 14 days unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Deposits
A deposit may be required for larger, higher-value, or specially scheduled works. The deposit amount will be confirmed in writing before booking is secured.
Failure to pay a required deposit may result in the booking not being confirmed.
Payments
Final payment is due within 7 days of the invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Payment may be made by bank transfer or card payment where available.
Overdue accounts may incur recovery costs, and failure to pay may result in debt recovery action and legal proceedings, including recovery through the Small Claims Court where necessary.
Cancellations
Customers may cancel bookings by providing at least 48 hours’ notice before the scheduled work date.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled work date may incur a cancellation charge of up to 20% of the quoted service value to cover lost scheduling, preparation, materials, and administrative costs.
Where weather conditions prevent safe or effective completion of the work, Havolyn Exterior Cleaning reserves the right to reschedule the service without penalty.
Surface Condition & Pre-Existing Damage
The customer acknowledges that pressure washing and exterior cleaning may reveal or expose pre-existing issues including, but not limited to:
- Loose or damaged pointing
- Cracked or weakened concrete
- Loose slabs or paving
- Damaged render
- Aged or weakened decking
- Poor drainage
- Unstable jointing sand
- Pre-existing surface wear
- Pre-existing stains including oil, rust, tannin, algae, and organic staining
Havolyn Exterior Cleaning is not responsible for pre-existing damage or deterioration made visible during the cleaning process.
Pre-work inspections and photographs may be taken for record purposes.
Chemical Treatments
Where required, cleaning may involve the use of sodium hypochlorite, biocides, weed treatments, fungicidal washes, and surface sealers.
Reasonable care will always be taken during application; however, customers must ensure pets, children, vehicles, delicate surfaces, and sensitive plants are kept clear of treatment areas.
Havolyn Exterior Cleaning is not responsible for issues arising from undisclosed sensitivities, inadequate site preparation by the customer, or pre-existing surface vulnerabilities.
Results & Guarantees
Due to the nature of exterior cleaning, no guarantee is given that all stains, marks, discoloration, or biological growth will be fully removed.
Results vary depending on surface age, material condition, previous maintenance, staining type, and environmental factors.
Havolyn Exterior Cleaning provides services with reasonable care and professional standards but does not guarantee perfect cosmetic results.
Use of Photographs
Before and after photographs may be requested for marketing purposes including website use and social media promotion.
Customer permission will always be requested before any identifiable property images are used publicly.
Subcontractors
Havolyn Exterior Cleaning reserves the right to use trusted subcontractors where necessary while remaining responsible for service delivery standards.
Refusal of Work
Havolyn Exterior Cleaning reserves the right to refuse, postpone, or cancel work where conditions are considered unsafe, access is restricted, surfaces are excessively damaged, or where the customer refuses necessary preparation or safety requirements.
Acceptance of Terms
Acceptance of a quotation, payment of a deposit, confirmation of booking, or allowing work to commence shall be taken as full acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
